Hi, It’s Twilight.
I wanted to give a kiss, a lick, and a hug to Candice Glover for winning the American Idol!
I can completely relate to her hit single, “I am Beautiful”! We have so much in common; sweet, beautiful, and amazing eyes. Oh, my voice? It’s more of a high pitch soft baby-like mew, Candice’s voice is Purrfectly beautiful!
My Mommy calls it Creature Status!

This most precious cat, my Twilight turned 4 this past June, we celebrated at home and on Facebook, and now here with all of the other summer birthday celebrations. If you knew my Twilight, you would run to find one. She is loving, gentle, slightly spirited in a good way, and just a darling.

Think Summer Fun!
Summer is here packed with Sunshine, long days, picnic foods and a more carefree spirit. I have to believe my cats feel the same way, lounging for hours on the warm screened in porch, then in the luxury of their air-conditioned home and napping the day away. Grace and Twilight are always ready for a treat as the rustling of the bag calls them into the kitchen, a long drink of cool water from the fridge is up next, and a quick round of play. Then of course, the squirrel watching, it must be like watching TV, so the monitor look of June’s cover reflects.

My original inspiration was from my sister, Julie who posted this adorable found coffee art cat below from her local Mama Jean’s Natural Market.

Next step, with fresh hot frothy, but lacking art cup of coffee in hand, web research to find this darling drinkable art form. First search, I find as expected, I am not the first to be enamored with coffee cat art. The following coffee crafted cats were found at – www.cutedaily.com
I also found coffee is a popular art form for your home, via just coffee art.
The best part of my coffee filled morning? No matter what the weather is, my cats; Grace and Twilight, and I venture out on to the screened in porch and take a moment to breathe in the new day. As I sit and rock in my rocker, I enjoy a freshly brewed cup of Community dark roast coffee with almond milk and honey from our backyard apiary. I say, richly blessed with both; cats and coffee just not in the same place.
As I near the end of my personal cup of coffee during this pleasurable search of eye-catching coffee art, I encourage each of you to Google coffee art just for fun, and view this art form one flavorful cup at a time. mmmm 🙂

Because of those who served and gave the ultimate sacrifice of their lives to keep our country free, we all have the freedom and a lifestyle that is the American dream.
In memory of those who came before us and those who continue to keep our country free, so that on Memorial Day, we can respect our history, freely picnic, play, vacation and spend valuable family time together.
If you ever have a chance to visit the Arlington National Cemetery, please do so, it gives an overwhelming perspective on our nations sacrifice.
